About the
Village Square
The focus of daily living is the
Village Square, a beautifully designed rendezvous with luxury
shops, bars and restaurants, which reflects the unhurried
atmosphere of a traditional Cypriot village and offers the
feeling of a real community. Built with the ambience and charm
from locally sourced stone, the square is set on a hilltop,
right in the heart of the resort, overlooking the
Mediterranean Sea.
The Village Square
offers a great selection of restaurants and bars as well as
the many dining optionsas well as all
amenities guests could want or need, including a bank,
pharmacy, mini market, flower shop, travel agency, electronics
shop, gallery shop, optician and luxury fashion and jewelry
boutiques.
In addition to offering the best
shops and restaurants, the spacious open-air area acts as the
focal point for events such as traditional bazaars and other
festivities.

Shops
The Village Square aims to make
living and playing at the Resort easy by offering a great
variety of amenities and services for guests and visitors
alike. A great selection of shops, ranging from an Art Gallery
to a Mini Market is located there. Please see below for a
short presentation of each shop.
Chapel
St. Catherine's Greek Orthodox
chapel is located right in the center of Aphrodite Hills,
within two minutes walk from the Clubhouse, Village Square
shops and the InterContinental Hotel.
The chapel has been designed
with the traditional Cypriot architecture in mind using
locally sourced stone. Local wood has also been used to
construct the doors and roof and parts of the interior. The
interior is beautifully decorated with Christian icons and
religious artifacts, radiating an atmosphere of spiritual
uplifting.
The chapel is ideally located to
provide the setting for beautiful weddings and religious

The chapel is open throughout the
day to the public. Please be advised that a conservative
attire is required when visiting.

Amphitheatre
The amphitheatre at Aphrodite
Hills is currently under construction. When it finishes, it
will become the center of many entertainment activities, such
as theatre plays, musical and dance performances etc.
